Jeanette Applegate, Office Manager
Jeanette Applegate is the Office Manager for the Center for State Health Policy and the Program Coordinator for the Institute for Health’s Project L/EARN graduate preparation program providing comprehensive support for both . At the CSHP she manages all functions relating to clerical support and day to day operations, including delegating tasks and supervising hourly workers. She is the point of contact/liaison with administrative and support units throughout the University, maintaining ongoing relationships in support of the CSHP’s mission. In addition she provides comprehensive support for conferences and events from database management through on site event coordination. As the Program Coordinator for Project L/EARN, Jeanette provides similarly comprehensive support from the beginning of recruitment, through the application process and throughout the summer training and academic year components. She provides ongoing support for the interns and essential stability to the program in general. Prior to joining CSHP, Jeanette worked as a Program Assistant at both the Edward J. Bloustein School of Planning and Public Policy and the Office of Continuing Professional Education. There she acted as a liaison between program coordinators, instructors, and students, prepared correspondence and instructor payroll, and aided students in enrollment and registration details.
Patricia Calogero, Executive Assistant
Patricia Calogero is the Executive Assistant at the Center where she provides general administrative support to the Center’s executive leadership, including the Director and Co-Director. She is responsible for coordinating executive schedules and meetings, managing correspondence, and acting as a liaison for Center clients, vendors, researchers, and University faculty and staff. Other responsibilities include planning conferences and events for the Center and its programs, coordinating with venues and vendors in various external settings, as well as providing administrative support to all levels of internal management and staff. Before joining CSHP, Ms. Calogero worked at the Rutgers Office of the Vice President for Academic Affairs where she was an administrative assistant. Her professional work history includes administrative positions at Princeton University, Stetson University, and Stetson Law School in Florida.
