Julian Rodriguez, B.S., is a Research Analyst at Rutgers University, working on the New Jersey Integrated Population Health Data (iPHD) Project and Medicaid data initiatives. With a strong background in data analytics, biomedical informatics, and health informatics, Julian is focused on data integrity, analysis, and reporting across multiple complex healthcare data systems. He leverages advanced tools such as SQL, Python, and Power BI to ensure that the data meets project standards and supports decision-making.
Ongoing work includes leading efforts in data extraction, validation, and visualization to enhance the accessibility and reliability of project data. Prior to joining Rutgers, Julian worked at NYU Langone, where he developed efficient data reporting systems and led the implementation of ETL processes using SSIS. His previous experience also includes leadership in developing probabilistic matching algorithms for ChoiceMaker LLC, ensuring accurate record linkage for healthcare data.
Julian holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Biomedical Informatics from CUNY New York City College of Technology. His technical skills span across machine learning, advanced SQL querying, and data quality management, which have proven invaluable in supporting public health initiatives.
