About Dr. Nasiri

Mojdeh Nasiri, MD, PhD, is a Research Analyst at the Center for State Health Policy. Dr. Nasiri is experienced in data management and statistical analysis and focuses much of her work on quantitative analysis of health systems performance and healthcare quality measures. Her prior experience involves also prediction models, management of missing data, microbiome profile and biomarker, and risk stratification models. Ongoing project work includes analytic contributions to the evaluation of New Jersey’s Section 1115 Medicaid Waiver. She also provides analytic support to the NIH funded study (R01MD015261) examining the contribution of homelessness to racial/ethnic and geographic disparities in health services outcomes and how permanent supportive housing can mitigate those disparities. Before joining the Center in 2020, Dr. Nasiri was a research analyst at Columbia university (Center for Advanced Cardiac Care, Ventricular Assistive Devices and Heart Transplant), and Michigan State University. She is a graduate of Tehran University Medical Sciences and earned her PhD in Epidemiology from Michigan State University.
