Oliver Lontok, MD, MPH, MBA, is a Senior Research Manager at the Rutgers Center for State Health Policy. Dr. Lontok is experienced in qualitative research methods and research administration and compliance and focuses much of his work on IRB submissions, conflicts of interest, compliance, pre and post award research activities. Ongoing work includes project support for: The NJ iPHD (New Jersey Integrated Population Health Data) project which aims to create a comprehensive and integrated database that consolidates health-related data from various sources across New Jersey. Additionally, Dr. Lontok supports the Role of Homelessness and Supportive Housing in Healthcare Disparities among Adults in Medicaid project, which focuses on understanding the intersection between homelessness and Medicaid expenditures. Before joining the Center in 2012, he was a National Research Service Award Fellow in the Department of Family Medicine Research Division at the UMDNJ Robert Wood Johnson Medical School. He earned his M.D. from the Universidad Autónoma de Guadalajara School of Medicine, a master's in public health from the UMDNJ School of Public Health, and master's in business administration from the Rutgers Business School.
