CSHP is describing data collected by the NJDHSS surveillance system (including asthma prevalence, emergency department visits, hospitalizations, deaths and other factors associated with the disease), which is designed to assist individuals and organizations in their efforts to reduce the burden of asthma in New Jersey. The goals of this project include the production of four extensive chapters and two shorter fact sheets describing the experience of New Jersey residents with asthma.
