In January 2004, the New Jersey State Legislature passed legislation allowing the New Jersey Department of Health and Senior Services to establish a New Jersey Obesity Prevention Task Force to develop recommendations to enhance and support obesity prevention among New Jersey residents. CSHP will assist with the facilitation of all task force meetings as an administrative and subject matter resource, providing informational, analytical and research support.
