To assist the New Jersey Department of Banking and Insurance in the implementation of the New Jersey Medical Care Access and Responsibility and Patients First Act, CSHP is updating and conducting targeted analyses of its physician database to link the NJ Board of Medical Examiners physician license list with the American Medical Association Physician Masterfile data for 2001, 2003, and 2004. This will provide the most up-to-date information and trends over time on the specialty and practice status of New Jersey's physicians.
