CSHP staff, in collaboration with DHS are conducting focus groups with men and women who live with disabilities to explore health promotion, health prevention activities, identify access barriers, and learn how the health care system could better serve the needs of these New Jersey citizens. Additionally, CSHP will conduct a targeted mail survey of both men and women living with disabilities in conjunction with participating disability service agencies and organizations. Together, these approaches will provide a better understanding of the way persons living with a disability promote their health and access the health care system.
