Massachusetts Health Care Delivery System Scorecard

The purpose of this project is to outline and develop a scorecard of cost indicators for the state of Massachusetts. Phase I explores methods to project consequences that are likely to arise from continuing unsustainable rates of growth in health care spending in Massachusetts, illustrates the main drivers of rising costs, and focuses attention on possible strategies for addressing major cost drivers. The outcome will create a framework, develop measures, and identify data sources needed to complete the scorecard. Phase II consists of data development, analysis, and preparation and publication of the scorecard.
