New Jersey Medicaid Super-Utilizer Analysis

In his 2015 budget address, Governor Chris Christie called on Rutgers Biomedical and Health Sciences to join with others “…to help us devise a program to innovate and improve health care delivery under Medicaid and Family Care.” In response, Rutgers Center for State Health Policy (CSHP) and Rutgers Robert Wood Johnson Medical School (RWJMS) are leading an effort to identify strategies to meet the Governor’s charge. Working closely with the New Jersey Department of Health and the New Jersey Department of Human Services, CSHP and RWJMS are conducting an analysis of Medicaid data and are seeking input from Medicaid stakeholders and other experts in the field. The project team will share findings and make recommendations in a final report to the State.
