The New Jersey Opioid Impact Survey aims to better understand: 1) patterns of use and misuse of prescribed and non-prescribed opioid drugs; 2) access to and patterns of opioid treatment services; and 3) the impact of opioid use on New Jersey families. The survey includes a statewide probability sample of adults designed to be representative of the state population, enhanced by a systematic non-probability sample design that oversamples specific counties within the state where the data have shown the opioid crisis to be most persistent and severe.
