Strategic Review of the Commonwealth Fund’s Health System Performance Scorecards (2017)

The Center is undertaking a strategic review of the Commonwealth Fund’s Health System Performance Scorecards in order to assess the relevance and rigor of these tools and their value to targeted audiences including researchers, policymakers, legislators and their staff, and key health care stakeholders. This work also examines the extent to which these scorecards have been successful in informing both policy and practice. The review is grounded in three core activities including: 1) an environmental scan of other comparable measurement documents and publications; 2) an online survey of current and potential scorecard users; and 3) key informant interviews with selective individuals.
